My Dad loved cake! Especially the chocolate Angel food cake... since he's gone, I haven't baked many cakes...

I sing that song too, but when I make pie! (Well, "singing" is one description for it.) I know what you mean about the mixer completely. I have my granny's, she's the one that taught me to bake. The cord falls out all the time and has a slight melted spot from touching a burner. I'll be sad when it goes as well.

That's it! You are the official baker for the Javelina Hunt 2009.

I swear, we are like twin daughters of different mothers! I bought my first checkerboard pan when I was 18! I don't know how many mixers I've burnt out over the years, I've lost count, but now I depend on my trusty Black and Decker, and my beautiful KitchenAid if I have a REALLY big batch of buttercream to make. I must really get an oven back into my house...It's been way too long since I've created something.
