Just a Little Coco to Brighten Our Moods

The last two weeks were pure torture, but I'll get into that some other time. On the bright side, we decided after such horrible weeks, we deservered a little happiness in our lives. Meet happiness.....
This is not an actual picture of our new kitty as I don't have a functioning camera right now (hopefully soon) but this could be her twin.
We started out naming her Jezabel, but while watch the movie about Coco Chanel's life, we decided on Ms. Coco. Yeah, she's not brown, but it fits her. Coco....Chocolate...Chocolate always makes me feel better....hot cocoa is always gives me the warm fuzzies...so yes, Ms. Coco fits. We got her Saturday, but until today, she has hidden herself away without eatting, drinking, or "eliminating". We took her to the vet today and he found that she had a little respiratory infection...and that instead of 3 years old, she appears to be around 5. That doesn't matter to us as we intentially chose a cat that might have a harder time finding a home than a kitten would. She got a little shot and has been moving around and exploring the house most of this evening. It's soooo wonderful being kitty parents again!
