EVERLASTING BEAUTY

Poolagirl's entry today about false eyelashes reminded me of something. A girl I went to High School with, wore false eyelashes religiously. She decided one day, rather than go through the hastle of apply, re-applying, etc.. everyday, she'd just apply them using Crazy Glue. Yes, you guessed it, she glued her eyes shut. Now, one would thing, after going through the embarrassment of gluing ones eyes shut, and a very expensive trip to the emergency room, that she'd learn. OF COURSE NOT!! A few days later, she got what my Momma use to call, "a wild hair", and decided it was a fantastic idea to match her eyeshadow to her fingernails. Yes, she applied fingernail polish to her eyelids. Not only did her eyes swell up, and remain swollen for almost a week, but all her natural eyelashes fell out. Awwwwwwww.....the price of beauty! Now if I can just find that darn permanent marker to do my eyeliner with....... haaaaaaa.
